International Feng Shui Convention in November: A First for Manila

For the first time in the Philippines the largest group of international Feng Shui Masters and Grand Masters will be visiting Manila on the 18th and 19th of November 2017 to celebrate the 14th International Feng Shui Convention (IFSC).

The IFSC has been held many times in Singapore, Bangkok, Shanghai, and Melbourne, but this is the first time in 14 years to be held in Manila. Thus, this is a great opportunity to learn not just from one resource person, but four Feng Shui Grand Masters or a total of 17 international Feng Shui Masters many of whom have never visited Manila before! Feng shui aficionados are enjoined to meet and hear their favorite Feng Shui Master or author and have their books personally signed by them. Several of the Masters will also be available for interview and private consultations.

The event will happen at the Marco Polo Hotel, Ortigas, Manila with a full program of 20 talks and four full day classes on specialized topics such as ‘Using Bazi to Correct Health Problems’, Applying the Yi Jing to Xuan Kong Da Gua, Advanced Flying Star and the Secrets of San He feng shui.

The line-up has international masters including Grand Master Raymond Lo, Grand Master Dr Stephen Skinner, Grand Master Tan Khoon Yong, Grand Master Vincent Koh, Master Yap Boh Chu, Master Goh Guan Leong, Dr. Jin Peh and many more.

International feng shui master Marites Allen will join these grand masters on the first day of the convention, while other masters and local speakers will share their expertise on the second day. Ms. Allen will talk about Feng Shui Fashion in Ancient China and the modern day. She will explain how feng shui symbolism has parallels with ancient Egyptian traditions, and will share interesting discoveries from her travels to Egypt and Central on how symbology can be applied effectively and timelessly to enhance various life aspects.

Apart from the IFSA convention, Ms. Allen is also scheduled to host her own Annual Feng Shui Convention to welcome the Year of the Earth Dog on January 6, 2018 in the same venue.

A Gala Dinner on the evening of the 19th November will give the attendees a chance to interact with the Grand Masters, while enjoying a sumptuous buffet dinner sponsored by the Tourism Promotions Board. The Secretary of the Philippines Department of Tourism, Ms Wanda Corazon Teo will also be present at this Gala Dinner. For more details of the Tourism Promotions Board’s involvement with, and sponsorship of IFSC contact Jocelyn Casiano of the M.I.C.E Department, (joy_casiano@tpb.gov.ph).

Tickets can be purchased on the 18th and 19th of November at the door for the special price of 10,688 PHP. This entitles you to two full days and the Gala Dinner. Tickets can also be booked online at SGD 288 via http://www.fengshui-convention.com/registrations.acv. There are also separate full day classes (17thand 20th November) which can be booked on the website.

If you are interested in Feng Shui, either as a beginner or expert, then this Convention is a must for you.

Frigga’s Auspicious Tree of Life Blooms with Happy Stories

June 27, 2015

The installation piece that depicts the Auspicious Tree of Life appears to be more than just a mood-setting motif in the newly opened Frigga Charmed Life boutique at The Block, SM North EDSA. In fengshui, the Tree of Life is believed to bring excellent career and business opportunities. With its power to transform misfortune into good fortune, it is used to enhance wealth and prosperity luck.

At closer look, visitors at the shop which opened last June 1, 2015 will notice short notes posted onto the “leaves” of the tree and each one tells a happy story.

Here are some of the notes:

“I followed the lucky fashion horoscope guide and I found a new job.”

“I always have my dzi bracelet which has given me so much protection through the years.”

“I wore the mystic knot and I won in the lottery!”

“Marites Allen was an important factor in my business luck and success. All the best to Frigga.”

“I love the 5 Element Golden Pagoda for good health and luck.”

“I wear the Double Happiness most of the time because it brings me double love and double money. More happiness, Frigga!”

“Since Marites Allen became my friend, my life has been auspicious.”

“I’ve been using Frigga for two years now and it’s really helping me a lot in my business, especially my Mystic Knot.”

“Frigga made my life more charmed as ever. I will be a fan. More power! “

“I gave my husband DZI Beads for my business and wealth. He has worn it for years.”

“Marites Allen makes sure I’m in a perfect place and time.”

“My Sheep Bangle and Hotu Mirror bring me all the luck every time I travel.”

“Tess recommended the Golden Ruyi for my husband. After 2 weeks he got promoted as a Senior Director.”

“The Wulou symbols help to keep me fit despite some health concerns. I also feel safer with my Blue Rhino as my protector”

“Thank you so much! You are a blessing.”

“Thanks for spreading luck to us, Marites.”

“Buying a monkey on elephant (enhancer) really helped to give me a promotion when I was working in Makati some years ago.The Rooster enhancer protected me from office politics and bad people stayed away.”

Another post, apparently by someone who has just bought the item on that day, said: “Wow! Fantastic Frigga wallet!”

The Tree of Life was envisioned to share those success stories from Frigga customers to inspire others who also want to benefit from the luck-enhancing qualities of the brand. Within a couple of weeks since the shop opened, the Tree is teeming with happy notes from satisfied Frigga users.

The new shop at The Block is the second physical shop that exclusively offers fashion wear and accessories for men and women under the brand name “Frigga Charmed Life.” It was named after Frigga, a Norse goddess endowed with the gift of prophecy. The unique brand is a concept of international fengshui master MaritesAllen and is owned by the House of Allen Ltd. of London. An earlier shop opened at the SM Mall of Asia in November last year. Frigga ships to over 16 countries worldwide through its online site www.frigga.co.uk.

The Feng Shui Makeover to a Lucky and Fab New You

With her flying from London to Manila and back again several times in a month, as well as jet setting to other parts of the globe, to say that Feng Shui Guru Marites Allen is sought after almost sounds like an understatement.

The President and CEO of “World of Feng Shui”, this master of geomancy can certainly attract, harness and enhance positive elements in the environment. When she walks into a room, her energy is not just palpable, it is infectious.
